GALT, CA (MPG) - Want to show off your chili chops? 

River Rock Brewery is hosting a chili cook-off to help raise money for the Sunshine Food Pantry in Galt on Jan. 25. 

Entry is $25. Entrants may register at River Rock Brewery, 608 N. Lincoln Way. Only eight spots were available as of Jan. 8.

Participants should bring their chili pre-cooked and ready to be judged. 

First place will take home $100, in addition to bragging rights; second place will earn $50 and third place will take home a $25 River Rock Brewery gift card. 

In addition to the chili cook-off, attendees can enjoy $5 beers throughout the event and take part in raffle prizes and a silent auction.

All the proceeds from the event will benefit the Sunshine Food Pantry.
