GALT, CA (MPG)  - Pastosa By Lucia, a favorite among local Italian food lovers, was named one of the Top 100 Eateries in the United States by Yelp on Tuesday, Feb. 11.  

Located at 545 Industrial Drive, Suite 100 in Galt, the restaurant came in No. 36 on the popular review websites 2025 list of top eateries in the country, three spots above Stockton’s Genova Bakery. 

The restaurant opens 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and features homemade pasta, sauces, ravioli, bread and tiramisu. 

The restaurant carries a Yelp rating of 4.7 stars out of 5 as of Wednesday, Feb. 12. 

Cassandra N. of West Sacramento wrote in a Yelp review that their pasta was not only excellent, but an amazing quality for the price point. 

“I would absolutely die for their focaccia, and their staff is always so sweet,” Cassandra N. wrote. “Their French onion soup, if you can get it, is loaded with deliciously caramelized onion and topped with lots of cheese.” 

“The quality of the pasta for the price point can’t be beat and I am a huge pasta lover,” Melissa S. of Stockton wrote in her Yelp review. “I had the butternut squash ravioli with brown butter and sage sauce, and it was mouthwatering.”

The restaurant was one of five Sacramento area restaurants to make the list. 

The highest ranking was Wally’s Cafe, located on Sunset Boulevard in Rocklin, which made No. 6 on the list. 

Roseville’s Guy’s for Lunch made No. 21 on the list and Elk Grove’s West Coast Taco Bar made No. 57. 

Engawa Fusion on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento closed out the Sacramento-area honorees at No. 94.
