GALT, CA (MPG) - Looking for a fun and unique way to spend your spring break? The Galt Chamber of Commerce invites families to take part in its Spring Break Egg Hunt, set for April 14 to April 18. 

The event, which spans several local businesses, invites participants to hunt for hidden eggs, collect stamps and enter a raffle for prizes. 

Each stamp you collect on your card from participating businesses earns you a chance at the grand prize, and finding all the eggs gives you two extra raffle tickets.

Merchants participating in the event include The UPS Store, Edge Real Estate, Country Rose Flower Shop, Dry Creek Construction, State Farm (Rachelle Copp), Parker Realty, Shop Local, Papa’s & Wings, MaxMuscle, Roenspie + Johnson Real Estate, Spaans Cookie Co., Galt Chamber of Commerce, Farmers Insurance (Kaci Boyd), Velvet Grill & Creamery, Mariscos Las Islitas, Giddens Bros. Plumbing, Heating & Air, Something Sweet Bakery, F&M Bank (Twin Cities), Chandler Gross Group, ACE Hardware, Back Alley Brew House, Rancho Seco Care Center, Support Local Business and My Stuff Storage & RV.

Each participating location will provide stamp sheets, allowing participants to start their egg hunt at any of the locations.

Those looking to capture the fun may wish to take a photo of a hidden egg at the Chamber Courtyard, share it on social media and tag the Galt Chamber of Commerce for an additional bonus raffle ticket.
