HERALD, CA (MPG) - A total of 98 Arcohe Elementary School pre-kindergarten/kindergarten students visited a local, family-run pumpkin-patch the morning of Oct. 16. With a light layer of fog and chill air, autumn in Herald is shaping up for fall activities and long-lasting memories.

Stepps Country Farms, located off Herald Road, is owned and operated by Bob and Carol Stepps. They invited local school children to pick their own pumpkins at their farm. The pumpkins are harvested solely for the purpose of being an experience to Herald students.
For the past three years, the Stepps family has gifted this joyful experience to local youth, spreading holiday cheer and unforgettable memories.
