Suspects Arrested in Armed Robbery Investigation

GALT, CA (MPG) - On April 27, just before midnight, the Galt Police Department Communications Center received a report of a victim who had been robbed at gunpoint while getting fuel in the 12000 block of East Stockton Blvd.

During the investigation, detectives determined the suspect vehicle and one of the involved suspects were also connected to a shooting incident which occurred after the robbery being investigated by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Through the investigation, Alejandro Roque Jr., 20, of Antelope, was identified as one of the robbery suspects. Roque was already in custody for crimes committed within Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction. He was additionally booked on charges of robbery with a firearm and committing a felony while out on bail.

Detectives continued their investigation and later identified the location of an additional suspect. On May 14, with the assistance of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Detail (SED), a search warrant was served at a residence in South Sacramento.

During the service of the warrant, Juan Jesus Rivera, 19, of Chico, was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. Rivera was booked into jail on charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, and an outstanding felony warrant from an outside agency.
